What this is
Dynasty Nexus is a free, skill-based fantasy-football game. You build a best-ball roster of NFL players and your best lineup scores real points every week. Every player is also a tradeable share priced by a live in-game market, bought and sold with an in-game unit called Nex. Nex has no monetary value and is never purchasable or redeemable for money. There is no entry fee or buy-in to play. From time to time the platform's creator may run free, no-purchase-necessary promotional contests with cash or other prizes, decided by skill. This is a game of skill, not chance. Winning depends on roster construction, weekly best-ball production, market timing, and your knowledge of the NFL — not on random draws or wagers. Dynasty Nexus is not a gambling service.
SMS communications
By signing up or logging in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Dynasty Nexus for the purposes of authentication (one-time codes) and transactional alerts (e.g., weekly honors, game updates) at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies — typically one message per sign-in plus occasional event-driven alerts.
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from non-authentication alerts; reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Dynasty Nexus.
- One account per person. Using multiple accounts to influence the market, score, or leaderboard violates these terms and may result in account suspension or forfeiture of holdings.
- You're responsible for keeping access to your phone number current. If you lose access, contact info@dynastynexus.com.
Contests & promotions
Dynasty Nexus is free to play and has no real-money component: no entry fee or buy-in, and Nex is free, has no cash value, and is not purchasable or redeemable. From time to time the platform's creator ("Sponsor") may, in a personal capacity, run free, no-purchase-necessary promotional contests with prizes, decided by skill (for example, the most banked best-ball production over a season). Each such contest is governed by its own published Official Rules, which control if they conflict with these terms. Such prizes are personal gifts from the Sponsor, not a payment, refund, or obligation of the platform.
One account per person. Multiple accounts, automation, or any manipulation of scoring or standings may result in disqualification from any contest and termination of your account(s). Prize winners must be of legal age and eligible under the Official Rules, and may be required to verify identity and provide tax information (such as an IRS Form W-9) before a prize is paid; winners are solely responsible for any taxes. Fair play
You agree not to:
- Coordinate with other accounts (yours or anyone else's) to manipulate market prices, the leaderboard, or any other game system.
- Use bots, scripts, or scraping to interact with the platform beyond ordinary browser use.
- Probe, scan, or stress-test our systems without written permission.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
We reserve the right to invalidate trades, freeze accounts, reverse score changes, or terminate accounts that breach this section — with notice when possible, without notice when the integrity of the game requires it.
Game design changes
Dynasty Nexus is in active development. Prices, scoring formulas, roster rules, fees, and other rules may change. Material rule changes will be announced in-app or by SMS before they take effect. Your continued play after a change means you accept it.
Player data
Player names, photos, teams, and stats are sourced from public NFL data (via Sleeper's public API and other providers). They're used for the purpose of identifying players in your portfolio. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, any NFL team, Sleeper, or any individual player.
No warranty
Dynasty Nexus is provided "as is" and "as available". We try to keep the platform running, accurate, and fast, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about fitness for purpose, merchantability, uninterrupted service, or accuracy of any data, score, or price. We're not liable for downtime, data loss, miscomputed scores, or any other operational issue. Your in-game holdings have no cash value and we offer no compensation for in-game losses.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dynasty Nexus and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
Dispute resolution & arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Dynasty Nexus will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Providence, Rhode Island, or by videoconference at the arbitrator's discretion. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.
Class-action waiver. You and Dynasty Nexus each agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing info@dynastynexus.com within 30 days of first creating your account with the subject "Arbitration opt-out." If you opt out, disputes will instead be resolved in the courts described under Governing law below.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.
Termination
You can stop using Dynasty Nexus at any time. We can terminate your account if you breach these terms, attempt to abuse the system, or if we shut the platform down. We'll give reasonable notice unless we can't for security or legal reasons.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent disputes are not subject to mandatory arbitration (see above), they will be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. These terms together with the Privacy policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Dynasty Nexus and supersede any prior agreements.
